Out entry permission or ticket was bought prior to the trip by the agency (Blue Bird Tours) so had no hassall or permission issue or even waiting at all.

Jamtola Beach is an tourist attraction point in Sunrdarban mangrove forest. But pain full mater that you need to walk more then 30 minutes after leave the boat. Main vessel are not eligible move to inside the forest lake. Sometimes it's called Kotka Beach. Terrible matter is you need to move in main forest with arm gard. If you are Lucy Royel Bengal Tigers invite you for breakfast on the way.

Although made for tourists, this place does have a touch of the true essence of the sundarban. You can see many spotted deers, some monkeys and wild boars. The beach has long standing trees giving it an unique look.

Apparently there are Royal Bengal Tigers in the area as well so whatch out!

Kotka beach is one of the beautiful tourist spots among the entire Sundarbans where you can do a jungle. It is actually a sanctuary area for the wild animals and UNESCO declared world heritage site. In Kotka, deer and monkeys can be seen many in numbers and the predators as the Royal Bengal Tiger can be seen sometimes. It has been said locally that the tigers often being available where the deer are available. If it is managed to get a safari early in the morning with a small boat to the inlet part of the river through forest a lots of wild animal could watched.

Like the other part of Sundarbans, Kotka is also full of flora and fauna. It took a survey and said that there is about 245 genera and 334 types of plants are at The Sundarbans. Moreover, some extinct type of birds likes Grey Eagle, the vultures and hornbills. More than fifty species of birds found at kotka.

The forest authority made a reservoir to get the sweet water for the wild animals during dry season. There is a watch tower also and from the tower tourists get a wonderful view of the forest. Form the watch tower it takes half an hour in walking distance you will reach to a wonderful sea beach out there named as Jamtola Beach. In winter season tigers Paws & Footprint can be seen often in the Kotka Beach.

It's a narrow sandy sea beach in backside of Katka khal of Sundarban. You can love to enjoy the morning sunshine in this sea beach. It has been spread in between west to east side; after ending the sea beach in east side, the spot namely "Kachikhali" is started. In early morning you can see a big team of deer when you travel to or from the sea beach

সুন্দরবনের দক্ষিন পূর্বকোনে অবস্থিত কটকা সমুদ্র সৈকত (Kotka Sea Beach) যা সুন্দরবনের আকর্ষনীয় স্থানগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম। কটকা মংলা বন্দর থেকে প্রায় ৯০ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত এবং সুন্দরবন পূর্ব অভয়ান্যের মধ্যে প্রধান কেন্দ্র।
সুন্দরবনের অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগার। কিন্তু বনে বাঘের দেখা মেলা যেমন ভার, তেমনি ঝুঁকিপূর্ণও বটে। তবে বাঘের দেখা পাওয়া ও নিরাপদে থাকা এ দুই-ই সম্ভব সুন্দরবনের চমৎকার পর্যটন কেন্দ্র কটকা অভয়ারণ্য থেকে। এখানে প্রায়ই দেখা মেলে সুন্দরবনের অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগারের। এ ছাড়া মনোরম চিত্রা হরিণের দল, বিভিন্ন জাতের পাখি, শান্ত প্রকৃতি এবং বিভিন্ন বন্য প্রাণীর উপস্থিতির কারণে পর্যটকদের পছন্দের তালিকায় কটকা অভয়ারণ্য সব সময়ই আলাদা স্থান দখল করে আছে।
কটকাতে বন বিভাগের একটি রেস্ট হাউস আছে। রেস্ট হাউসে লঞ্চ থেকে ওঠার জন্য এখানে কাঠের জেটি আছে। এ জেটি বেয়ে কিছু দুর হাটলেই রেষ্ট হাউস। এর সামনেই দেখা যায় সাগরের অথৈ জল রাসির বিশাল বিশাল ঢেউ। এর আশ পাশ রয়েছে অসংখ্য ছোট বড় খাল। এসব খালে নৌকা নিয়ে ভ্রমন খুবই মজাদার। খালের ধারে দেখা যায় দলে দলে চিত্রল হরিণ চরে বেড়াতে। এছাড়া বানর, উদবিড়াল ও বন মোরগ দেখা যায়। মাঝে মাঝে বাঘের গর্জন ও শোনা যায়। অন্ধকার রাতে লক্ষ কোটি জোনাকীর আলোর মেলা মুগ্ধ ও বিমোহিত করে তোলে। কটকা বন বিভাগ কার্যালয়ের পেছন দিক থেকে সোজা পশ্চিমমুখী কাঠের তৈরি টেইলের উত্তর পাশের খালটির ভাটার সময় ম্যানগ্রোভ জাতীয় উদ্ভিদের ঘন শ্বাসমূল দেখা যায়। বনের দক্ষিণে কিছুক্ষণ হাঁটলে চোখে পড়বে পরপর তিনটি টাইগার টিলা। এ টিলায় প্রায়ই বাঘের পায়ের ছাপ দেখা যায়।
কটকার জামতলা ওয়াচ টাওয়ার থেকে দেখা যায় বন্য প্রাণীর অপুর্ব দৃশ্য, হরিণ পালদের বিচরণ, শুকরের ছোটাছুটি, বানরের কারসাজি, বাঘের হরিণ শিকার কিংবা রাজকীয় ভঙ্গিতে বাঘের চলার দৃশ্য ইত্যাদি পর্যটকদের ভীষণ ভাবে আকৃষ্ট করে। কটকা ওয়াচ টাওয়ারকে পিছু ফেলে সোজা উত্তরে প্রায় তিন কিলোমিটার হেঁটে গেলে জামতলা সমুদ্র সৈকত। পথে চলতে চলতে বিভিন্ন আকারের জামগাছ সৈকতটির নামের সার্থকতা খুঁজে পাওয়া যায়। জামতলা সৈকতটি নির্জন এবং পরিচ্ছন্ন। বেলাভূমিজুড়ে শুধুই দেখা যায় কাঁকড়াদের শিল্পকর্ম। কোথাও কোথাও দেখা যায়, জোয়ারের ঢেউয়ে ধুয়ে যাওয়া গাছের শেকড়। সৈকতটি সোজা পুবে গিয়ে শেষ হয়েছে কচিখালিতে। জামতলা সমুদ্র সৈকতটি স্নানের (গোছল) জন্য আদর্শ জায়গা নয়।

Its a awesome place. Nice looking view big sea in front of eye. A great nature view. You may get forest and sea together in this point. I love this place.

There is such a beautiful beach in the Sundarbans that you can't understand without it. At a very low cost, you can travel around the Sundarbans by ship for two to three days. The Sundarbans is one of the most interesting places in Bangladesh. You can also go for a walk with your family.

Very nice place. Don't miss once in your Sundarbans tour. Be careful and do not go deep into the waters (remain safe from drowning!)

It's beach like dark soil and very long walk.
It's not over crowded like other tourists spot.

জামতলার পর্যবেক্ষণ টাওয়ার থেকে সুন্দরবনের বেশ বড় অংশ একসঙ্গে দেখা যায়। সুযোগ হলে এখান থেকে বাঘের দেখা পাওয়া যেতে পারে। ত‌বে জে‌টি থে‌কে কমপ‌ক্ষে আধা ঘণ্টা হাঁট‌তে হয় সমুদ্র সৈক‌তে যে‌তে হ‌লে। সৈক‌তের বা‌লিগু‌লো বেশ সুন্দর। সমু‌দ্রের পা‌নি যতটুকু পর্যন্ত আসে, ততটুকুর বা‌লি কা‌লো। ত‌বে বা‌কি অং‌শে ধবধ‌বে সাদা বালি। এছাড়া উপ‌ড়ে পড়া গাছ, সমু‌দ্রের বিপরী‌তে সবু‌জের বিশলতা আপনা‌কে মুগ্ধ কর‌বেই।

The forest authority made a pool to get the sweet water for the wild animals during summer season. There is a watch tower also. From the tower tourists get an amazing view of the forest. Form the watch tower it takes half an hour in walking distance to the sea beach.

Jamtola beach is one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the whole of Sundarbans where you can go on a jungle trail with night stay. It is currently a protected area for wildlife, and a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO. Deer and monkeys can be seen in numbers at Kotka and the cats can sometimes be seen as the Royal Bengal Tiger. Locally it has been said that where the deer are present the tigers are often available. If a safari is operated early in the morning with a small boat to the river's inlet through the forest, a lot of wild animal might be watching.

After a long walk through KOTKA, the beach gave a fascinating feelings. We enjoyed last sunset of 2019.
