Zahir Raihan Auditorium

The central auditorium for Jahangirnagar University. Spacious area inside the hall room. The dais is big enough to make room for around 50 people at the same time. The green room is average in quality. The built-in sound system is not so good but it can be enhanced with the help of external speakers. The placed is air-conditioned but the air-conditioners are not enough to cover the whole area.

Memorizing place for every JUians. Though seat management and air conditioning problem suffer much! Need much improvement.

The "Zahir Raihan Auditorium", located in the TSC complex, is named after Zahir Raihan, a famous Bangladeshi novelist, writer and filmmaker. There is also a seminar hall for seminars, meetings and cultural programmes. The auditorium has 1500 seats, while the seminar hall can accommodate 250 persons. It is an auditorium fully equipped for drama, cultural activities, international conferences, and other similar events.

The university has a gymnasium, a well-equipped swimming pool, an amphitheatre, and a central cafeteria. Adequate bus services between the campus and Dhaka city are provided to the students, teachers, and other employees of the university

I love this auditorium. Many times I spent here. As a student of Jahangirnagar University I proud of this auditorium. It's in one of the main point of University. When people come University at least they come here to see this auditorium. Various function, seminar, job fair etc.are happened everyday.

That Auditorium includes 3 hall. One is Seminar Hall, one is theatre hall and the last is a Lab room of Department of Drama and Dramatics.

It's the central auditorium of Jahangirnagar University and in most of the days in a week, different events take place. It also has a separate seminar room which is convenient to use to arrange seminar/workshops.washrooms have adequate capacity for both males and females.

ক্যাম্পাসের একমাত্র মিলনায়তন ভবন। টিএসসির পশ্চিমে এবং স্ট্যাট বিল্ডিং এর বিপরীত পাশের গলিতে এই মিলনায়তনের অবস্থান।
মিলনায়তনের ভিতর পর্যাপ্ত আসন সম্বলিত এবং সুন্দর মনোরম মঞ্চ সন্নিবেশিত আছে। ভবনের একপাশে সেমিনার নামে একটি বড় কক্ষ বরাদ্দ আছে যা ছোটো সেমিনার বা ফাংশন প্রোগ্রাম আয়োজনের জন্য করা।
পর্যাপ্ত ওয়াশরুম থাকলেও তা নিয়মিত পরিষ্কার থাকে না, এটা হহতাশাজনক।

এতো বড় মিলনায়তন কক্ষে নেই কোনো শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রণের ব্যবস্থা। ফলে অনেক সময় ভ্যাবসা গরমে অতিষ্ঠ হওয়া লাগে আগত ছাত্রদের। এদিকে কর্তৃপক্ষের আশু দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ কামনা করছি
