Such an amazing work place, though I don't work there but I am having a few day long meetings there recently. Cafeteria, open space, spacious meeting rooms, digital equipment and connectivity, clean and beautiful.

UNICEF has been working to improve the health and well-being of children in Bangladesh since 1952. Over the past 70 years, UNICEF has been witness to many historic events in Bangladesh, always ready to help: from providing emergency relief for war refugees in 1971 to assisting Rohingya refugee children who fled their homeland in 2017.

There are 58 million children in Bangladesh today, accounting for a third of the population of the country. UNICEF works closely with the Government to build the best possible future for them. Our goal is to ensure that every child in Bangladesh has the best start in life, is able to thrive and can develop his or her full potential.

To meet these objectives, we use our technical expertise and work with partners to address challenges facing children in Bangladesh: health, nutrition, education, protection, and water, sanitation and hygiene.

UNICEF Bangladesh has field offices in all eight administrative divisions, covering all 64 districts. Our success relies heavily on collaborations with partners, donors, civil society organisations and local communities.

UNICEF,  acronym of United Nations Children’s Fund, formerly (1946–53)  United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, special program of the United Nation (UN) devoted to aiding national efforts to improve the health, nutrition,  education and general welfare  of children.

The country of Bangladesh is totally organised and well decorated.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is a United Nations agency responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide with a presence in more than 190 countries and territories.
In Bangladesh, it was founded in 1952 by the volunteers to advises the Bangladesh Government on policies and legislation which support various programs and commitments under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that defines children as human beings, different from adults. Tomoo Hozumi is the UNICEF country representative to Bangladesh.
UNICEF has launched its 7th Fifth Year plan the Sustainable Development Goals in close coordination with the Bangladesh Government. The main goal is to advance the rights of children, especially those who are unheard and disadvantaged.
They are using the life-cycle approach, in which activities are organised to provide support to children based on their age group. The approach identifies specific priorities and plans for each age group, like infants and their mothers, children at primary school age, and adolescents. These are supported by the rights of children.  Yasmin Ali Haque joined UNICEF Bangladesh in 1996; she would go one to become the country representative of UNICEF in India.

Loved the place. Usually I go there for meetings, but I never forget to get bakery items from the Kiva Hun outlet located there.

It looks ok from outside. Situated within high boundary wall. Nothing inviting or expressing its functions can be detected by passerby
