Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (RAOWA) is basically an organisation working for the welfare of retired tri-services officers. It is located in Mohakhali DOHS and it has a good number of halls where you can arrange wedding receptions, official programmes and many more.

We enjoyed the wedding reception of my cousin in the Anchor Hall of RAOWA club. It is very specious and can house a good number of people. If you are looking for any halls for the wedding reception or Gaaye Holud programme and your guest number is not that huge, you can book one of the halls from here. You can make small stage and decorate the hall as per your wish too.

RAOWA Club is a great venue for weddings and other events. The venue is beautiful, the grounds are spacious, and the staff is professional and helpful. The only downside is that there is no obvious parking for guests, but this is a minor issue. I would definitely recommend RAOWA Club to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Dhaka.

Very good place. There are three convention hall of different sizes. People can take rent according to their requirement.

A well organised Convention hall with relevant commodities. Huge parking lot both for cars and motorcycles. Wheelchair accessibility ensured here. Being a multistorey Convention center it can host multiple different program at once. Catering was also fair if not the best. Overall a very good choice for arranging family or corporate programs.

Its a Housing society of retired armed forces officers. Now a days few offices are also situated there.

Its a very disciplined housing society in Dhaka area.

অবসরপ্রাপ্ত সশস্ত্র বাহিনী কর্মকর্তাদের কল্যাণ সমিতি ক্লাব। সরকারি কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের কনভারসেশন হল। যাদের চাকরির মেয়াদ শেষ হয়ে গেছে তারা এখানে আসেন পেনশনের টাকা তোলার জন্য। এখানে গাড়ি রাখার পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে জায়গা রয়েছে। এখানের পরিবেশ অত্যন্ত পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্ন থাকে সবসময়।

আসসালামু আলাইকুম। রাওয়া ক্লাব।এক্স রিটায়ার আর্মি অফিসাদের জন্যে এই ক্লাব।এছাড়া যে কোন অনুষ্ঠানে এর জন্যে এখানে বুকিং দিয়ে এবং রেফারেন্স ইউজ করে ভেন্যু পাওয়া সম্ভব।এখন এই বিল্ডিং টা আরও বহুতল বিশিষ্ট, পারকিং, বিলিয়ার্ড ক্লাব, রেস্টুরেন্ট, বিভিন্ন কিছুর সুব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে।এখানে ২০১৫ সালে এক বান্ধবির বোন এর আকদ এটেন্ড করেছিলাম।সর্বাপেক্ষা নিরাপত্তা, এবং সার্ভিস খুব ভালো।

রিটায়ার্ড ডিফেন্স অফিসার্স এবং তাঁদের পরিবারের সদস্যদের নির্মল কিছুটা সময় কাটানোর জন্যে খুবই উপযুক্ত স্থান!

One of the best halls for wedding and party's. They provide quality service but their different service charge make it too costly.

Several time i have visited this Retired Armed Forces Officers Welfare Association Club in Mohakhali DOHS. Inside this club i have found very awesome environment, seating arrangement. This place is wheel chair accessible and also wheel chair accessible parking and lift. This place is only open for ex armed forces officers not public person.

RAOWA club building is the most prominent structure in the Mohakhali area. It has three convention halls. Which are very well decorated and has high demand among the classy people in the society. This building is now the headquarter of few big companies in the country. Max, Well food ate among them. RAOWA club is only for the ARMY officers and the club has its own facility in this building with a swimming pool and Gym for it’s members use.

This place offers a cost effective place to arrange programs like wedding ceremony for retired armed force personnel. This place is also available for civilians. But the charges are higher for civilians.

Retired Armed Forces Officer's Welfare Association or RAOWA  is an association for the welfare of retired armed forces officers in Bangladesh. It was formed by members of two defunct organization Defence Officers’ Retired Association and Ex-Defence Officers on 18 June 1982. Retired Armed Officers Welfare Association Club is located in Bangladesh. The Government of Bangladesh in an agreement with the association decided to import 5000 taxi cabs in 2013, which would only be driven by retired armed forces personnel. Major M Tanim Hasan was elected president of the association in 2015. Brigadier General Razia Khanam is the vice-chairman of the club.  RAOWA club is located in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka Bangladesh.

Arrange is good for community center, but the place is very backward and army wont allow ubar to come and pick you easily (for instance check post guard made ubar driver to call us to know what is the name of bride and bridegroom of my attended wedding party). 2nd floor has got very tiny space to sit although you can see bride and bridegroom while eating there.the place has got nice fountain and ground floor hall is quite good and decoration was great.

Good place for your family program. They can offer you different sizes of program facilities, depending upon the kind of program you're going to host. And it's gonna be nice, if you do your homework properly. They provide different kind of services and are highly professional in dealing.

The company is very much popular to people in their short name - RAWA. This is a newly constructed commercial building on it's old land owned by them. The building only for commercial use. There is a very big community hall on a floor. The hall is very elegant design and can accommodate people for functions i.e. Wedding ceremony, Seminar, Exhibition etc.

The new Club building has a number of large hall rooms to hold various types of event i.e. Wedding, AGM etc. There is also a restaurant in which small get-togethers can be organized. The building has ample parking space underground.

It's a very beautiful place for retired armed forces officers. But it's well known as an attractive and prestigious place for wedding program and like this. It's architectural design is very beautiful. Here's many attractive facilities for it's members like restaurant, swimming pool, Gymnasium, game room, very beautiful and enriched library, indoor game room, bar and so on. Price is very reasonable.
