পাশেই বেদান্ত লাইব্রেরি- শতাব্দীর শ্রেষ্ঠ প্রন্থগুলোর সমাহার। আমরা চাইলে সেগুলো অধ্যয়নের মাধ্যমে নিজেদের সমৃদ্ধ করতে পারি। প্রণাম৷

The place is a well decorated holy place. The environment is beautiful. There are many hindu festivals throughout the year. Morning and evening prayers are worth remembering. It is a mission where religious work is done as well as some social work. It has a large collection of books of various categories. Health care facilities and blood donation programs are also undertaken. It is run by charitable organizations and contributions from followers.

Everyone knows about Ramkrishna Mission, I'm only adding that, when I see and meet the Swamies my soul fills with the heavenly happiness. Maybe the temple is the best place to meditate for a couple of while.

An old place of worship for Hindus. You may visit if you want but it doesn't remain open the whole day. If you want to go there by car, they don't usually provide parking facility although they have ample space inside. Otherwise it is good to go.

Very beautiful and peaceful temple. It refreshes your mind even if you're there for a short while. It is very spacious as well, where one can spend time with nature.

১৮৯৯ সালে স্বয়ং স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ তাঁর দুজন শিষ্য স্বামী বিরজানন্দ ও স্বামী প্রকাশনন্দ কে ঢাকায় পাঠান সেখানে রামকৃষ্ণ ভাবধারা প্রচার করার উদ্দেশ্যে ।
১৯১৬ সালের ১৩ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি রামকৃষ্ণ মিশনের তৎকালীন সঙ্ঘাধ্যক্ষ স্বামী ব্রহ্মানন্দ ঢাকায় রামকৃষ্ণ মিশনের ভিত্তি প্রস্তর স্থাপন করেন । ঢাকার জমিদার যোকেশ চন্দ্র দাসের দান করা সাত বিঘা জমিতে এ মঠ ও মিশন প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় ।
