It is one of the oldest book shop. You can find novels and other books at the same place. Price is moderate respect to the environment and service. You can find a spot to read books as well. You can grab a coffee and feel the book you are reading. A good place if you are a book lover.

Nice and cozy, books n books around, huge collection, also the stationaries are rich in collection. Good place for One stop shopping.

Lovely place for different types of books- fiction, thriller, romantic, text book.
You can read, decide and buy.
National and international -both types of edition is available for some books.
Stationeries related to reading and writing also available.
Staff are good behaving, cordial.

Its probably one of the biggest chain book shop in Dhaka. It has a tremendous collection of books, comics, magazines, textbooks, stationary items and various gift items. Not to mention it has a kids area where kids can play around and also enjoy reading. You can also sit there and enjoy reading as the environment is just too good. It is mainly a concern of Punjaree Publications. They used to have a small 3D movie theatre and a cafe but during the pandemic it remained closed.

If you are a bookworm or comic book enjoyer, you can surely take a peek at this place. Even if you are not into reading, you can just visit the place and it will surely not fail to impress you.

I suggest this place for mainly reading books

Fantastic place for the book lovers. They have good collection of Bengali and eng literature and genuine books.

A rich book store with nicely organised also attendances are well behaved. If they have some seat for spending time to read books that wold be nice.

Trash. Rude behaviour of salesperson at its best. Just try Baatighar or something else. They don't accept credit cards, they don't have the latest issues of magazines, they don't restock their books and manga so that you cannot get prequels of your favourite manga and books unless you pay 50% cash in advance (cash only) without specific regulations about book pre-order which takes more than a month to get it on your hands.
Just dissatisfied with the overall First-hand experience. I used to go there during 2012-2015. Their Service has reached the poorest standards I can expect of a famous chain book shop. Just try baatighar as they have better customer service, reading space, café with better payment options available via credit cards and mobile payment. They also have the latest volumes of magazines available in Bangladesh. Thank you for your interest in the first place. I appreciate you.

A great collection of foreign books, english medium books, nobel etc. Nice environment but books are too expensive then other bookshops.

A nice place for book-lovers, there are huge categories of books that will meet the need of a toddler to adult; well decorated and smartly organized books gallery; in addition, here you'll get a wide variety of collections of stationary items, gift items etc.for office and educational institutions. There are also a mini theater of 3D/5D cinema (specially for children) and a mini food cafe. Staffs are well mannered and co-operative.
