One of the best universities in Bangladesh. They interior design of the university is something where you can vibe. The indoor court of the university is amazing. It's a very big university. The cafeteria is also enormous and has very good food in there. The hallrooms are great too.

North South University (NSU) is Bangladesh's first private university, founded in 1992 by the Foundation for Promotion of Education and Research (FPER), later renamed the NSU Foundation. Comprising notable individuals from various fields, they aimed to establish a world-class private university when there were no relevant laws for private universities in Bangladesh. They played a pivotal role in formulating the Private University Act (PUA) -1992.

NSU was formally inaugurated on 10 February 1993 and managed by the NSU Foundation until 2012 when the NSU Trust was formed to oversee the university's administration. The Chancellor of Bangladesh serves as NSU's Chancellor.

The Vice-Chancellor, currently Professor Atiqul Islam, heads NSU's Syndicate, responsible for academic and administrative affairs. NSU follows the US university model, including semester systems and credit hours. Its curricula for programs like Economics, Business, and Computer Science were influenced by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh. NSU also has an International Advisory Board to offer guidance on academic matters.

In terms of education, NSU emphasizes general education, has a strategic plan, and conducts student instructional learning assessments. It is working towards institutional accreditation.

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ক্যাম্পাসটি ঢাকার বসুন্ধরা আবাসিক এলাকায় অবস্থিত। ছাত্র জনসংখ্যার দিক থেকে এটি বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তম বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলির মধ্যে একটি। 30 জানুয়ারী 2003 এ ক্যাম্পাসের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করেছিলেন বেগম খালেদা জিয়া। 9 জুন 2009 থেকে স্থায়ী ক্যাম্পাসে ক্লাস শুরু হয়।

এই ক্যাম্পাসটি সুযোগ-সুবিধা সহ 12,000 শিক্ষার্থী পর্যন্ত পরিবেশন করতে পারে। এটিতে 1,250,000 বর্গফুট ফ্লোরস্পেস সহ সাত একর জমিতে তিনটি বেসমেন্ট সহ ছয়টি ভবন রয়েছে।

North South university is one of the best university in Bangladesh. This university has international standard educational system. Very high-class lab facility class room. Every part of this versity is too beautiful. If you have enough money you can get admission here.

I am an alumni at NSU, and although their campus is beautiful and the Professors are qualified there are some major lacking in the University.

Firstly, the quality of education is questionable and it seems to focus more on profit. Examples are making the syllabus as difficult as possible so students need to retake the course again.

Secondly, the teachers lack empathy and often forced by the administration to take measures they would not have otherwise.

Thirdly, the tuition fees these days are not worth it

Try to get in a govt University or go abroad!

An international quality institution, and undoubtedly one of the best at Bangladesh. From the campus architecture beauty to the teachings and all other facilities that you can imagine in a university, it's damn good.
Of course, there are few issues that is not up to the mark always. Hope the authorities will be able overcome those in the future.

University is damn good! One complain about their security management. They do not know, how to behave with students. Besides, environment of the university is nice and well advanced in educational activities.

The university campus is the best in Bangladesh according to what I have seen so far. The campus had great security system. The admissions officer was great and willing to give me time to know about my queries. They have spacious offices and hallways compared to some of the other universities in Bangladesh.

An expensive private university. The environment and education system are good but not the authority and security management.

North South University is the number 1 private university in Bangladesh. It is well known for its quality education and other activities. Student whom get admitted have lots of opportunities to explore their self and gain experience and skills. Facilities there are really helpful and teaches a lots of things. Overall North South University gives a student perspective of their own ability and chance to improve them.

Studying in this amazing institute was one of the best decisions of my life. I was always skeptical about private universities but my doubts got cleared when i got the opportunity to study at NSU. Among many distractions, one can always be on top of his game if he is solely focused. I had the urge to complete my studies as soon as possible. NSU provided me the platform to express my uniqueness and made me a proactive human being.

If you are ambitious the study cost will be one of the best investments of your life. With that said, i will add another point, which is the administrative activities, it will not satisfy anyone. Some instructions can ne vague and it may take time to complete paper work. Overall the university is one of the best private universities in Bangladesh. I love my university and it has the best aesthetic campus around Dhaka city.

As most of the universities in Bangladesh struggling hard to do well in Global University rankings, north south is the only university in Bangladesh striving hard to improve every day. It is providing every thing that the student need to excel academically. Craving for the fame of public universities are there when you study ironically, nsu behind this craving scene doing best than one can expect. The money they ask the service they try to provide. So, overall relatively good.

One of the finest higher education institutes in the country. I’m proud and grateful to have spent 4 crucial years of my life here. I got to meet a lot of talented people, learned so much and made a ton of memories!

The School of Business and Economics (SBE) at North South University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs  (ACBSP). [12] It is the first Business school in Bangladesh to receive American accreditation. [3] SBE of NSU secured the Global Rank of 401-450 in Business and Management Studies in the QS World University Rankings 2020.
