Mirpur DOHS Porishod Office

While Mirpur DOHS itself provides a good living environment, the DOHS Porishod's lack of action against criminal rickshaw pullers is disappointing. Despite the community's reputation for safety, the unchecked exploitation of students through exorbitant fare hikes demonstrates a failure to address pressing issues. Without intervention, the Porishod risks tarnishing the area's reputation and failing to protect its residents from exploitation and abuse. Urgent action is needed to address this concerning issue.

This is administrative office of Mirpur DOHS committee for residents of Mirpur DOHS. Anyone staying at Mirpur DOHS have any legal issues or administrative help, they have to go through the channel of Porishod. All administrative, security, stickers for vehicle, pass for any outside transport, pass for Rickshaw or Roadside seller of vegetables/fruits with van are issued from here. There is an elected president and various members who are all the plot owner.

Guards behaviour towards a well dressed person is too poor. I can name guard Zia and Guard Ridhoy. They are just like terrorist. Behaving bad and they if you can go for complain. Such audacity is not expected from a guard. However I draw the attention to change this type of guards from this community who do not know how to behave.

Poor quality services, Security system also not good and gaurd behaviour like a car driver, not respect any person, higher authority no response this problem, you can call dead their authority seystem

Very very bad experience, Specially all stuff like guard of DOHS [ traffic etc ] are all stupid and i think Members of porishod support them. I got bad experience and guard said you can complain but nothing will happen, Can you amaze!

Mirpur DOHS is one of the best residential area of Dhaka city. It has almost every facilities and amenities for their residents. Most importantly there are many to come and onboard with the present. Mirpur DOHS Porishod Office is maintaining all their duties and responsibilities very carefully. I think this is only the housing area where you can get angling facilities in the two beautiful lake.

But unfortunately the duty of controlling the mosquito from the area is not up to the mark. If anybody asked me what's the drawbacks of the housing here? My only deep breath belongs to this mosquito problem. I think Mirpur DOHS Porishod Office is totally failed to manage this.

I have been living here for one and half year and I have noticed that it's 60% plot are just completed 40% new construction undergoing in each avenue.sometimes it's too noisy also.it has a poster that says " mirpur dogs is noise free area" but each afternoon I see drivers from companies that are working on residential area for no valid reason, gather band sounds too much that it's hard to concentrate on what you doing specialy infront of your valcony.really poor management by porishod itself.i am done living here so not suggesting anyone on living with complete isolation from everything!

It's getting worst day by day as the companies are shifting to residential area fflowlessly with no valid reason! Most construction are still going on so it's noisy too.even you wonder that it's a noise free area they are publicing because people especially the companies drivers gather and makes too much noise in front of the valcony then you will realize what a poor management by the porishod itself.shame an absolute shame for each and everyone who lives in here.its almost our responsibility too to make the environment positive

There are no accounts maintained here, persons working here are the most corrupt ones in the whole Mirpur DOHS area. They forcibly demand monthly subscription money from flat owners without any proper documentation despite paying the money.

People here are more like government officials. Don’t see much activities for the whole community.

This is a dohs community that handls all affaris of.mirpur dohs they are the very bad in taking care of the communities own prbolems let alone rentars.

It is the administration cum welfare headquarters of DOHS Mirpur. All the plot/flat owners are the members of the porishod.

I think Mirpur DOHS is the best residential area in Dhaka. Once you reside here, you won't leave this place.

This office looks after the wellbeing of the DOHS community. For any kinds of administrative needs community people must inform Porishod for necessary actions.

Expensive without valid reason. Not good for civilian.
Only good for those who don't need freedom and love illogical rules.
Communication is worst.
No stores nearby.
No medical service nearby.
Only roads are good.

They are trying hard to make better decisions to offer comfort to the retired and some serving officers of Bangladesh Armed Forces

Security sucks.one evening I was hijacked on road 9 beside the main lake. I reported to porishod and still today no outcome! The plot owner mostly are chadabaz. Our owner asked for 1000 taka as bonus for caretakers on this Eid festival. On our contract paper it was not mentioned. Still he is bothering us to pay 1000 taka. I think I will dodge a complain to porishod and Pollobi thana regarding this matter.

So this is the real picture of Mirpur DOHS.
