Caritas Bangladesh

Nice place and safe place but the problem is that there is no left.

Caritas is a Latin word means "Love God's Love". Caritas is an NGO which founded in Bangladesh from 1967 for human welfare as a part of East Pakistan at then. Following the cyclone of November 1970 it was re-organized and become known as CORR (Christian Organization for Relief and Rehabilitation) and took the charter of a national organization on January 13,1971. The name Caritas was re-introduced in 1976 & started work as vital part of society. Currently it’s operating it’s services in 8 Regions (Chottogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet) & in 186 subdistrict or upazila. During emergency like natural disaster, CB is operational in any part of the country.

কারিতাস মানে ভালোবাসা-this was their moto. It is basically a Christian mission establishment which is working like a NGO. Their mission is not different than any Christian mission in BD. However, they conduct some trade courses for the pupils. Quality of the courses and trainers are dedicated and arduous.

CARITAS BANGLADESH is a leading national NGO in Bangladesh. It’s a organization of “Catholic Bishops Conference of Bangladesh”. It has 8 regional office all over Bangladesh and it’s the Central Office. Also it has 3 Trust office. CARITAS has very good working environment. By the way the central office at Shantinagar just few meters ahead from Malibagh Bus Stand. In Bangladesh CARITAS starts it’s journey since 1967.

It's a international Donna organisation. Quit seattle look office which control over the country regional office.
