It's my college. This college is for both H. S. C and Honours. It's a girls college, beside Dhaka medical college under Dhaka University affiliated 7 college. Located at Azimpur. Boys and guardians aren't allow in there. I like it very much. It safe for girls & women. Here hall also for girls who came from far away & another side of country.here 4 buildings, tree, library, 4 college bus for different root. Our mam & sir are very hospitable to us. They are very kind. That's all.

Girls College having Girl's hostel, overall good but lack of natural beauty and narrow space.

No guidance and student monitoring. They goes fully out of track outside of the college. Very much disappointing.

এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীদের দেওয়া লেখার উঁচু বেঞ্চ গুলো জঘন্যরকমের খারাপ। কলম, পেন্সিল রাখা যায় না সব গড়িয়ে পরে কারণ বেঞ্চ গুলো কিছুটা বাঁকা (সবগুলোই) এবং বসার সিট থেকে বেশ দূরে। দ্রুত লিখার একটা পজিশন আছে কিন্তু সেই পজিশনে যাওয়া যায় না কারণ এগুলো মাটির সাথে এটাচড।

Begum Badrunnesa Govt. Girls' College  (BBGGC) is an educational institutes in Bangladesh. The college was incorporated in 1948 as an intermediate college under Eden Girls' College. In 1962 Eden College gained a second campus at Azimpur, and the older campus at Bakshi Bazar was renamed, and later separated from Eden Mohila College, Dhaka. Badrunnesa Girls' College obtained approval of offering honours degrees in 16 subjects in 2004, and has also got approval for running master's degrees in Bangla,  English,  sociology,  history and home economics.

বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ, এটি ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ এর বিপরীতে অবস্থিত। বকশী বাজার এ। একটি মহিলা সরকারি কলেজ। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীন সাত কলেজের একটি এই বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ।

Begum Badrunnesa Govt. Mohila School and College is one of the renowned institutions in this area. This institution is especially for women. Teachers and students are friendly and the teacher's quality is good. It's situated in the central place of Dhaka (Beside Dhaka University, BUET & Dhaka Medical College). The institution also arranges different types of exams like board exams as well as different types of job exams. The teachers are very cooperative with their students.

লেখাপড়া তেমন একটা হয় না বললেই চলে। যারা নামে লেখাপড়া কইরা একটা সার্টিফিকেট নিতে চায়, তারাই এখানে ভর্তি হয়।

ঐতিহ্যবাহী বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ ১৯৪৮ সালে সরকারি কলেজ হিসেবে যাত্রা শুরু করে। কলেজটি প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে নারী শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রণী ভূমিকা পালক করে আসছে। এই কলেজের বহু ছাত্রী কর্মজীবনে দেশবরেণ্য নেত্রী, বিজ্ঞানী, শিল্পী, সাহিত্যিক, শিক্ষাবিদ, চিকিৎসক, প্রকৌশলী ও প্রশাসক হিসেবে সুনাম অর্জন করেছেন। জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে তাঁদের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান কলেজকে মহিমান্বিত করেছে।
উল্লেখ্য, জাতীর জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের সুযোগ্য কন্যা মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনাও এই কলেজের একজন প্রাক্তন ছাত্রী। About College
ব্রিটিশ শাসনের অবসানের শেষের দিকে পূর্ববঙ্গে তৎকালীন ইডেন ভবনে ১৯৪০ সালে এই কলেজটি ইডেন স্কুল ও কলেজ নামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। দেশ বিভাগের পর ১৯৪৮ সালে এটি সাত নম্বর বকশি বাজারে স্থানান্তরিত হয় এবং ঐ সাল হতেই কলেজটির প্রথম সরকারি কলেজ হিসেবে যাত্রা শুরু। এজন্য কলেজটির প্রতিষ্ঠাকাল ১৯৪৮ ধরা হয়, কিন্তু ১৯৬৪ সাল পর্যন্ত ইডেন কলেজ হিসেবে কলেজটি পরিচিত ছিল। পরবর্তী সময়ে আজিমপুরের নতুন ভবনে ডিগ্রী শাখা চালু হলে নতুন ভবনটি ইডেন কলেজ নামে এবং বকশি বাজারের সেই স্বনামখ্যাত ইডেন কলেজ প্রথমে গভঃইন্টারমিডিয়েট কলেজ নামে পরিচিতি লাভ করে। ১৯৬৮ সাল থেকে ডিগ্রী কোর্স চালুর পর এর নামকরণ করা হয় ঢাকা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ। পরবর্তীতে ১৯৭৪ সালে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম শিক্ষা প্রতিমন্ত্রী বেগম বদরুন্নেসার মৃত্যুর পর তাঁর নামানুসারে কলেজটির নামকরণ করা হয় বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ।নারী সমাজের কল্যাণের জন্য তিনি অনেক গঠনমূলক কাজ করে গেছেন। ১৯৫৩ সালে বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সমাজ সেবামূলক কাজের জন্য রাণী এলিজাবেথ করোনেশন পদক এবং ১৯৯৯ সালে মরণোত্তর স্বাধীনতা দিবস পুরস্কার লাভ করেন।
চারদিকে প্রাচীরঘেরা বদরুন্নেসা কলেজের অভ্যন্তরে নিরিবিলি ও নিরাপদ পরিবেশে এর কার্যক্রম সুষ্টভাবে পরিচালিত হয়ে আসছে। কলেজটিতে আধুনিক ও যুগোপযোগী শিক্ষাদানের জন্য সমৃদ্ধ লাইব্রেরি, ২টি পাঠাগার, কম্পিউটার ল্যাবরেটরি, অডিটোরিয়াম ও একটি খেলার মাঠ রয়েছে। এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ইতোমধ্যে জাতীয় পর্যায়ে গৌরবময় আসন অলংকৃত করায় ২০০২ সালে ঢাকা বিভাগে শ্রেষ্ঠতম কলেজের মর্যাদা লাভ করেছে।

বর্তমান অধ্যক্ষ প্রফেসর হোসনে আরা শেফালী এ কলেজের কর্ণধার রুপে দায়িত্ব গ্রহনের পর থেকে অদ্যাবধি ক্লান্তিহীনভাবে কর্মপ্রচেষ্টার মাধ্যমে এই শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানটিকে নানা দিক থেকে সাফল্যমন্ডিত করার চেষ্টা অব্যাহত রেখেছেন। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শ্রেনির শিক্ষার্থীদের শিক্ষার মনোন্নয়নকল্পে একটি নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষণ কমিটি (নিপক) ও প্রতি শিক্ষাবর্ষে ২টি করে টিউটোরিয়াল পরীক্ষার প্রথা প্রচলিত আছে। এছাড়া কলেজের উপাধ্যক্ষ Professor Sabikun Nahar শিক্ষার্থীদের কল্যানে নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন। ফলে ঢাকা মহানগরের প্রানকেন্দ্রে অবস্থিত নারী শিক্ষায় অনবদ্য প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজের সুখ্যাতি উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধিভুক্ত বেগম বদরুন্নেছা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ দেশের অন্যতম শীর্ষস্থানীয় শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। ব্রিটিশ শাসনের শেষদিকে তৎকালীন ইডেন ভবনে ১৯৪০ সালে এই কলেজটি ইডেন স্কুল ও কলেজ নামে স্থাপিত হয়েছিল। দেশ বিভাগের পর ১৯৪৮ সালে এটি সাত নম্বর বকশি বাজারে স্থানান্তরিত হয় এবং তখন থেকেই কলেজটি প্রথম সরকারি কলেজ হিসেবে যাত্রা শুরু করে। ১৯৬৪ সাল পর্যন্ত কলেজটি ইডেন কলেজ নামে পরিচিতি পায়। পরবর্তীতে আজিমপুরের নতুন বিল্ডিং এ ডিগ্রী শাখা চালু হলে নতুন ভবনটি ইডেন কলেজ নাম ধারন করে এবং বকশি বাজারের এই কলেজটি গভ: ইন্টারমিডিয়েট কলেজ হিসেবে পরিচিতি লাভ করে। এরপর ১৯৬৮ সালে এখানে ডিগ্রী কোর্স চালু হলে ১৯৬৯ সালের শেষদিকে এই কলেজের নাম হয় ঢাকা গভর্নমেন্ট গার্লস কলেজ। ১৯৭৪ সালে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম শিক্ষা প্রতিমন্ত্রী বেগম বদরুন্নেসার মৃত্যুর পর তার নামানুসারে কলেজটির পুনরায় নামকরণ করা হয় বেগম বদরুন্নেসা সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ।

আজ (২১. ০৬. ২০১৯) নির্বাচন কমিশনের 'স্টোর কিপার' পদের। খুব ভাল একটি কলেজ। শিক্ষক শিক্ষিকারা অনেক Helpfull. Just একটা সমস্যা সুপেয় পানির ব্যবস্থা নেই।

মেয়েদের জন্য বেশ ঢাকার বেশ নামকরা কলেজ। এখানে এইচএসসি, অনার্চ, ডিগ্রী ও মাস্টার্স পড়ানো হয়। আশেপাশের পরিবেশও বেশ ভালো।

HSC result এর GPAএর দিক দিয়ে চিন্তা করলে এটা ভাল কলেজ বলে কারো নাও মনে হতে পারে। কিন্তু এই কলেজ থেকে hsc complete করে বের হওয়া অধিকাংশই ভাল ভার্সিটি তে চান্স পায় (A+ পাওয়া ছাড়াই) । কারণ তারা যে result করে নিজের যোগ্যতায় করে।অনেক কলেজ তো result করে politics এর মাধ্যমে, পরে A+পেয়েও তাদের students চান্স পায় না।
