7Busiest and important place of this region due to influx of FDMN. Growing and developing quickly. Restaurantd, variety shops, stationary, Different Markets are situated here.
Its okay. Vegetables, Beef and all others necessary goods and households necessary products are available, and also right it is fine for residence. Many fancy residences are available there too.
A crowded market and station area. But very undisciplined and dirty. Roads are muddy and broken. No standard restaurant or residential hotel or community center is here. After the Rohingya influx at 25 August 2017 so many NGO, INGO came here to response the crisis. Peoples of these organizations need to stay here. Local people took the chance and charging the house rent bigger than the capital city or district sadar here. Local people are mostly uneducated and uncivilized in their manners. The culture and rituals are seems to be very funny. Peoples treated the outcomers as bound to bear their demands and toller their odd behaves. I'm requesting all peoples come from other sides here, not to correspond or being intimate with these uncivilized locals living here. The speech of my best friend, who traveled a lot in this area before, said me once that, the worst cultured peoples lived in this area. His words are true actually, now I believe.
Ukhiya station is only a upazila in Cox's Bazaar. Refugee camp start Kutupalong at Ukhiya.
From balukhali to morissa is very bad road and also very zam. I think this road is not perfect for the worker.

Ukhia Upazila (cox’s Bazar district) area 261.8 sq km, located in between 21°08' and 21°21' north latitudes and in between 92°03' and 92°12' east longitudes. It is bounded by ramu upazila on the north, teknaf upazila on the south, arakan state of Myanmar and naikhongchhariupazila on the east, the bay of bengal on the west.
Population Total 155187; male 80561, female 74626; Muslim 136739, Hindu 3605, Buddhist 57, Christian 11761 and others 25. Indigenous community such as chakmabelongs to this upazila.
Water bodies Main river: naf; Reju Canal is notable.
Administration Ukhia Thana was formed in 1926 and it was turned into an upazila in 1983.
