Comilla Education Board

One of Oldest education board of Bangladesh established in 1962. It's formally known as Intermediate & Secondary Education Board, Cumilla. Before establishment of Chittagong & Sylhet education board, all the eastern regional High Schools & Colleges were under this board.

The district-based Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Bangladesh manage the country's three-tiered education system at the primary and secondary level. They are responsible for conducting the examinations for the Secondary School Certificate (S. S. C), the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (H. S. C) level public examinations. The boards are also responsible for the recognition of private sector educational institutes.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Cumilla is an autonomous organization that is responsible for holding public examinations (Junior School Certificate (J. S. C.), Secondary School Certificate (S. S. C.), and Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (H. S. C) in the Cumilla District and five nearby districts of Cumilla Division. The board was established in 1962 under the East Pakistan Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962.

There are 10 different educational Board in Bangladesh which was formed different schools and colleges of specific district. Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Comilla is one of the educational Board of Bangladesh. The school and colleges of Brahmanbaria, Cumilla, Feni, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, Noakhali district are under Cumilla Education Board. All this institution public exam, result are held under Cumilla Education Board.

Cumilla Education Board situated in the centre of Comilla District. It's located near Kandirpar, besides Laksham Road.

The board of cumilla secondary and higher secondary situated is near the Kandirpar comilla. Feni, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Cumilla and B Baria districts secondary and higher secondary examination held under this board. This board is open from 9AM to 4PM. Without goverment holiday it open everyday.

মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড, কুমিল্লা (ইংরেজি: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Cumilla) বাংলাদেশের কুমিল্লা জেলার মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর নিয়ন্ত্রক কর্তৃপক্ষ হিসেবে কাজ করে। এই শিক্ষা বোর্ড ১৯৬২ সালে বাংলাদেশের কুমিল্লা জেলায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। কুমিল্লা কান্দিরপাড়ের লাকসাম রোডে এর বর্তমান দাপ্তরিক ভবন অবস্থিত। বোর্ডের অর্ডিন্যান্স অনুসারে এটি মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহের তদারকি, মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক স্তরের পাবলিক পরীক্ষাসমূহ পরিচালনা ও উন্নয়নের জন্য ক্ষমতাপ্রাপ্ত; যা পূর্ব পাকিস্তান মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা অর্ডিন্যান্স ১৯৬১ (East Pakistan Ordinance No. XXXIII of 1961) ও এর ১৯৬২ খ্রিস্টাব্দের ষোড়শ এবং ১৯৭৭ খ্রিস্টাব্দের সপ্তদশ সংশোধনী দ্বারা দ্বায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত।

এটি কুমিল্লা শিক্ষা বোর্ড যা ইন্টারমিডিয়েট এবং সেকেন্ডারি এডুকেশন বোর্ড নামেও পরিচিত। এটি বাংলাদেশের প্রাচীনতম শিক্ষা বোর্ডগুলির মধ্যে একটি যা 1962 সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া, কুমিল্লা, লক্ষ্মীপুর, চাঁদপুর, ফেনী এবং নোয়াখালী জেলা এই শিক্ষা বোর্ডের অধীনে রয়েছে। প্রতি বছর এই বোর্ড চমৎকার ফলাফল করে। বোর্ডের সদস্য, শিক্ষক এবং সমস্ত স্কুল ও কলেজের ছাত্রদের উৎসর্গের কারণে এটি ঘটে।

One of the best education board in Bangladesh. It has a beautiful area with lots of building. You can get any kind of service from here related to your education, such as changing or fixing certificates. There is a Sonali Bank branch inside this area. Anyone can open account in this bank and buy 'Sanchay Patra'. Very helpful place.

কর্মকর্তাগণ খুবই আন্তরিক। এক কাজে কাল গিয়েছিলাম। ছোট ভাই এর মত মনে করে কথা বললো বিজন স্যার। কাজের ফাকে ফাকে পুরো অফিসটা দেখেছিলাম। প্রথমের সুন্দর গেট। এর পরে বাম পাশে সোনালী ব্যাংক। তার পরেই ট্রেনিং সেন্টার। মাঝে বাগান। এর মাঝেই লোগো করে লেখা, কুমিল্লা শিক্ষা বোর্ড। তার পরেই লাল সবুজ ডিজাইন করা মূল অফিস। অফিসে ঢুকলেই Citizen Charter. সেখানে অনেক সুন্দর করর লেখা আছে নিয়ম কানুন। পাশেই পুকুর আছে।

My experience in 2017 was not so pleasant when I first went. They are not friendly and it's quite hard to get any kind of information. All departments are corrupted. I had to work through a broker because I didn't have much time. I was harassed by the administration for protesting.

কাগজপত্র সত্যায়িত করতে পেইজ প্রতি ২০০ টাকা করে দিতে হয়। কিরে ভাই এগুলা কি! তবে একটা জিনিস ভালো ১ দিনের মধ্যে দিয়ে দেয়। তবে সকালে জমা দিতে হবে। দুপুর হয়ে গেলে পরের দিন দিবে। তাই যারা কাগজপত্র সত্যায়িত করবেন চেষ্টা করবেন তাড়াতাড়ি জমা দেওয়ার জন্য।

শিক্ষা জাতির মেরুদন্ড কিন্তু আশেপাশের খালগুলি, গাছের ঝুলন্ত তার, রাস্তাঘাটে আবর্জনা, প্রতিটা রেস্টুরেন্টে হাইজিন প্র্যাকটিস ন্যূনতম নেই দেখে মনে হয় আমাদের শিক্ষিত মানুষের খুব অভাব।

This is the Comilla Shikkha Board also known as the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. It is one of the oldest education boards in Bangladesh which was established in 1962. Brahmanbaria, Cumilla, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, Feni, and Noakhali districts are under this educational board. Every year this board does excellent results. This happens due to the dedication of board members, teachers, and students of all schools and colleges.
